About Industrious Lemon
Industrious Lemon is led by Danni Leach—a Leyton-based artist, maker, and creative facilitator with a rich, multi-disciplinary practice. Formally trained as a fine artist, Danni’s work spans an expressive range of mediums and scales, from vibrant illustrations, paintings, and sculptures to festival props, bespoke art commissions, and custom furniture design. Driven by curiosity, a passion for tactile making, she brings enthusiasm, technical versatility and clear instruction to every project. With a lifelong passion for nature and the outdoors, Danni is currently studying ecology— a discipline that can be woven into nature-responsive, place-based workshops.
With over 12 years of specialist teaching and subject-leadership experience across primary Art and Design & Technology (DT), Danni blends rigorous educational expertise with an open, process-driven approach to community arts. Having recently stepped out of full-time teaching, she brings her extensive pedagogical background into community hubs, galleries, museums, schools, local venues, and private event spaces. Danni has collaborated with a diverse mix of cultural institutions, local festivals, and creative spaces—including Somerset House, Leyton Arts Festival, William the Fourth, Tun, and Gravity Well, alongside hosting a wide array of bespoke private events and pop-ups.
She is also a certified Arts Award Advisor (qualified to deliver Trinity College London’s Explore and Discover awards) and has a proven track record of delivering professional development (CPD) for educators. Whether facilitating workshops for young people, guiding creative projects with disabled adults, or hosting pub-based beginner-friendly events, Danni creates welcoming, secure, and high-energy spaces where participants of all ages and abilities can build confidence, explore new materials, and connect through making.
Underpinning her community work is an uncompromised commitment to inclusion, care and safety: Danni holds advanced Safeguarding Lead-level 3 training covering both children and vulnerable adults. She has experience at working with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of needs; including neurodiversity, physical disabilities and other SEND. She has training in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Dementia Awareness and Learning Disability Awareness.
