Who
Industrious Lemon is run by Leyton based Artist, Maker and Educator Danni Leach.
More formally trained as a fine artist, Danni’s creative practice encompasses many artforms and materials, from bright colourful illustrations, paintings and sculptures to festival props/art pieces to furniture design and manufacture. She is always keen to explore new skills and keep busy on many different projects.
Danni has over 12 years teaching experience, mostly but not limited to primary school Art and DT education. She currently works as the specialist Art/DT teacher and subject lead at a North London primary school.
She is a trained Art Award Advisor, able to run the Explore and Discover Awards certified by Trinity College London.
In addition, she has also provided training to other teachers and spent time working with children, young people and disabled adults in a community arts project setting.

What’s on offer
Industrious Lemon currently offers workshops based around printmaking, in particular Collagraph printing and Dry-point etching.
Available as either ‘casual drop in’ style workshops that give participates the chance to create a print from a ready-made plate or as a more involved 2–3-hour workshop that allows participants to go a little more in depth and create their own design from scratch. Both are open to ages 6+ as either a family friendly or an adult only event. For events where children younger than 6 are present I can provide a fun but simple press printing activity. All materials are provided.
Please get in touch to discuss your event and needs or come along to one of my listed events to find out more.
In the works and hopefully coming soon, is a fully in-depth course run over several weeks that allows time to explore different techniques, create higher quality and multiple plates and spend more time printing.
Upon request happy to discuss - 1 to 1 tutoring-workshop/GCSE portfolio prep/children’s art clubs.
